Name of page name of airport

[edit]

A recent change attempted to unilaterally change this page to Blenheim Airport with no real justification or evidence. The traditional name for the airport has always been Woodbourne, which is the name of both the attached Air Force base and the adjacent town. Most official documentation uses Woodbourne to describe the airport. the company who runs the airport and the sign on the outside and it's website use the name Marlborough airport. The only thing Blenheim has to do with it is that that is the biggest town in the Vicinity.

If there needs to be a change Marlborough airport would fit the model used to name the Kapiti Coast (rather than Paraparaumu) And Hawkes Bay (rather than Napier). Andrewgprout (talk) 08:24, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
